During the conference, SOUTH technical representatives presented the latest trends in surveying technology, focusing on the industry shift from traditional workflows toward intelligent and automated solutions. Several new products were introduced, covering a wide range of application scenarios. SOUTH NS10 and NS30 robotic total stations attracted particular attention for their advanced system design and locally developed core technologies. Equipped with high-precision axis systems and an Android-based intelligent platform, the solutions support automated target acquisition and stable performance in low-visibility and complex environments, enabling efficient one-person operation.

SOUTH SLAM-RTK ME solution was also showcased, addressing integrated indoor and outdoor surveying requirements. By combining RTK, laser SLAM, and visual technologies, the system delivers reliable positioning accuracy in GNSS-restricted environments such as tunnels and building interiors while capturing detailed spatial information. In parallel, SOUTH introduced SurvStar software, which integrates data collection, processing, and analysis to support efficient multi-source data management and flexible secondary development.

In addition, SOUTH AcuteLas series of 3D laser scanning systems demonstrated their applicability in areas including cultural heritage documentation, industrial inspection, and infrastructure monitoring. With millimeter-level accuracy and non-contact data acquisition, the systems generate comprehensive point cloud data suitable for long-term digital archiving and subsequent analysis.
